These terms describe use of What Did I Eat, a meal journal provided by BuiltByEden LLC. Questions and support: eden@builtbyeden.app.

The service

What Did I Eat lets you record meals, store calorie values or estimates, and review daily totals through the web app or a connected ChatGPT account. It is a food journal, not medical care, a diagnostic service, or personalized dietary treatment. Estimated calories can differ from actual values because portions, ingredients, and preparation vary.

Your account and instructions

Use your own account and keep access to it secure. You must be at least 13 years old and able to use the service under applicable law. Do not access another person's journal without authorization, interfere with the service, or submit unlawful content. Only save meal details you want the service to store. Do not submit medical records or authentication secrets in meal fields.

You may use ChatGPT to request saves, corrections, and deletions after connecting your account through Clerk's authorization flow. Review the assistant's assumptions when it estimates calories. Check the saved results and correct them when necessary. Tool availability depends on the connected services and your authorized permissions.

Your journal and privacy

You retain your rights in the information you submit. You authorize BuiltByEden LLC and its service providers to process that information to operate the journal and carry out your requests. Our privacy policy explains storage, sharing, retention, export, and deletion controls.

Availability and ending use

We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted access or error-free calorie estimates. Features may change. We may restrict abusive use or suspend service when necessary to address security, legal, or operational issues. You can export your journal, delete entries or all journal data, disconnect ChatGPT, and close your sign-in account. Contact support if you need help.

Updates and support

Updated terms will appear here with a new effective date. We will provide notice of material changes when required. These terms do not limit rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable law. Contact eden@builtbyeden.app with questions before continuing to use the service.
